Review and apply your setup plan

Before you start

• You are setting up your business for the first time and have finished Business Information and Payment Connection.

Steps

1. The third setup step, Booking Confirmation, shows the plan Slate made from what you filled in. Nothing is created until you confirm it.

2. Read any notice at the top first. Worth reading first lists things to check, and a notice like One thing will not be created lists what Slate cannot build, and why.

3. Look down the list of services. Each one has a switch and is on to start with. Turn off any service you do not want guests to book yet. Use Confirm all or Confirm none to switch them all at once.

4. Check the line about departures. It tells you how many bookable times Slate will create from your opening hours and your boats, rooms or people. If it says No departures yet, you can add hours and resources in Settings afterwards.

5. Check your booking page address, and click Preview to see the page. Then check the Boats, vans, guides & rooms and Team lists.

6. Click Confirm bookings. Slate builds the services you kept, their prices, your resources, team, hours and departures, and opens the last step.

Tips

• Confirm bookings stays greyed out while every service is switched off: a booking page needs at least one service.
• Changed your mind? The last step has Undo this build (1 hour), which removes everything this step created.
• To go back to the payments step, click Back.
• Everything here can be edited later in Settings and under Sell, one section at a time.
