Guide
Booking link for Instagram, Facebook and Google
No website? Put your Slate booking page link on Instagram, a Facebook Page button and your Google Business Profile, step by step.
You do not need a website to take bookings. Your Slate booking page has its own address: put it where guests already find you.
What you need
- Your booking page address. In Slate, open the Booking page tab, go to Add to your website and choose No website.
- Copy your booking page address from Slate.
- In the Instagram app, open your profile and tap Edit profile.
- Tap Links, then Add external link.
- Paste the address, give it a title such as Book now, and tap Done.
Facebook Page
- Switch into your Page (not your personal profile).
- Click Add action button and choose a booking button.
- Link it to your booking page address and save.
Google Business Profile
- Open your profile on Google Search or Maps and select Edit profile.
- Choose the bookings link type and select Add link.
- Paste your booking page address and select Save.
If it does not work
- The link does not open. Paste the full address, starting with https.
- You cannot find Add action button on Facebook. Switch into the Page first; the button is on the Page, not your personal profile.
- Google shows a different booking link first. If your profile has several, set yours as the preferred link.
Check it worked
Open each profile the way a guest would, tap the link, and make sure your booking page opens.
